Gaza Ceasefire Deal Reached: 42-Day Pause, Hostage Swap, and Aid Surge

Gaza Ceasefire Deal Reached 42Day Pause Hostage Sw

Qatar’s Prime Minister said that Israel and Hamas have agreed to a ceasefire and to exchange hostages in Gaza. This happened after Qatar, Egypt, and the United States helped negotiate. The first part of the deal is a 42-day pause in fighting in Gaza. This is meant to calm things down after more than 15 months of conflict so the next steps can happen.

The agreement also says the Israeli military will pull back from crowded areas in Gaza to the edges of the territory. This should let Palestinians who had to leave their homes go back. Making this part work is important for the ceasefire, and letting people get back to normal. Plus, more help will be sent to Gaza.

This help includes a lot more supplies. 600 trucks will go into Gaza each day. 50 of those trucks will carry fuel. Getting fuel is important because it will help bring back electricity which has been badly affected because of the fighting. This extra aid should help people in need during the ceasefire.
