A group of robbers attacked an ATM cash truck in Bidar city India on Thursday. This happened right in front of the main State Bank of India during the day. The robbers were following the truck and attacked it when it arrived at the bank to fill the ATM.
One security guard named Giri Venkatesh was shot and killed. Another guard Shivakumar was badly hurt and rushed to the hospital. The robbers got away with about 9.3 million Indian rupees from the cash truck. The whole thing happened very fast with the robbers using guns to take control.
The police are now investigating this robbery to find the people who did it. This incident is also making people question how safe these cash trucks really are and if they need better security especially during the day.
