Mahua Moitra a member of Parliament used X a social media site to talk about a bad food delivery she had. She said that late Thursday night she ordered some pricy “Minus Thirty” ice cream from Swiggy. She said the ice cream arrived melted and not good to eat. She let Swiggy know directly in her post that they needed to do better.
Her main issue was that the ice cream was in very bad condition especially for how much it cost. She was upset that a costly item was delivered in such a bad way. Her post didn’t say exactly where the delivery was but it seemed to be in her area. She said the ice cream was not only unusable but spoiled.
After her post she said she wanted a refund or to have the ice cream replaced. She was making Swiggy responsible for the bad delivery. She was using her position to talk directly to the delivery company and make them improve their service. Swiggy responded to her post but we don’t know what they said.
