Donald Trump is moving his inauguration stuff inside because it’s gonna be super cold and windy in Washington DC on Monday. He said on his social media that the outdoor stuff is now happening in the Capitol Rotunda instead. So things like the swearing-in and his speech will be inside instead of outside where everyone normally gathers.
The main reason for the change is the bad weather. They’re expecting really cold temperatures and winds and that could be dangerous for people if they’re outside for the events. They decided to use the Capitol building instead so that everyone is safe and the events can still happen. It changes the big outdoor ceremony to a smaller one indoors.
This means the inauguration will be smaller than usual with fewer people able to attend. The most important thing was making sure everyone is safe from the cold weather and they made the move inside because of it. The core parts of the inauguration will still take place just inside the Capitol building. It shows how the weather can change big plans quickly.
