RSS Leader Alleges News Anchor Coached Anti-Muslim Remarks in Delhi Debate

RSS Leader Alleges News Anchor Coached AntiMuslim

In 2016 Rakesh Sinha who’s a big leader in the RSS said a news anchor from a major TV channel told him to say bad things about Muslims during a debate show. Sinha said the anchor wanted him to make fun of things like beards and skullcaps that some Muslims wear. He said the anchor did this to make the debate really controversial get people mad and make it go viral on social media.

This seems like the anchor was trying to make the debate more popular by making people angry. By telling Sinha to say mean stuff the anchor was apparently trying to get people riled up and talking about the show. Sinha mentioned this coaching happened before the show which means it might have been planned ahead of time to make the debate go a certain way rather than having a real discussion.

This situation shows how media might not just report the news but also change it in a way that hurts some groups. This coaching looks like they tried to use sensitive religious topics just to get more attention and that could cause more problems and hurt people. It makes you wonder about the rules news people should follow and how far they’ll go to get ratings and make things trend online.
