The Hyderabad Disaster Response Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) has announced plans to revitalize a park in Moosapet. This project comes after many residents complained about illegal construction within the 2,000-yard park located on Anjaneyanagar, Road No 9. The work is scheduled to begin in about three weeks, with the Telangana government providing 5 million rupees for the effort.
Local residents had initially alerted authorities about the encroachment, expressing their worries about losing a valuable green space. In response, HYDRAA inspected the park and confirmed that work would be starting soon. First, the agency will remove all encroachments from the area. Then, they will focus on restoring the park to its original condition, including planting new plants and fixing any damaged structures.
According to HYDRAA, the money given by the government will be used specifically for the “rejuvenation and reconstruction works.” The agency’s goal is not only to restore the park, but also to improve it, making it a more enjoyable recreational area for everyone in the neighborhood.
