Azad Samaj Party and Bhim Army staged a protest with thousands of people in front of Raj Bhavan and presented their 25-point demands to Ma Rajpal and the Chief Minister.
State President Kashif Raza said that Azad Samaj Party and Bhim Army Bharat Ekta Mission are protesting in front of Ranchi Raj Bhavan in protest against the increasing atrocities and exploitation on tribals, Dalits, backward classes and religious minorities in Jharkhand and against the increasing corruption in the state. And the Chief Minister’s residence will be surrounded. He told that many brave warriors of Jharkhand had sacrificed their lives to get the status of a separate state for Jharkhand, Jharkhand agitators are today demanding the account of their sacrifices, the dreams of brave martyr Birsa Munda are still unfulfilled, Jharkhand The condition of the tribal people is pathetic, religious minorities are not safe in the state, an atmosphere of hatred is being continuously created against them.
State President of Bhim Army, Sanjay Raviraj told that the sleeping government of Jharkhand is in deep sleep, to wake them up and to get their demands met, he staged a dharna. He said that in the coming times, we will try to oust this dumb and deaf government from power. Will do the work, and Azad Samaj Party will fight the elections with full strength and this election will be fought by all the tribals, dalits, backward classes, Muslims, Christians and Sikhs.
Major demands
The statue of Constitution maker Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar should be installed in the new assembly premises of Jharkhand.
- 100% scholarship should be paid by Jharkhand government to the students of Scheduled Caste community.
- Regarding the demand for making mob lynching law for the safety of Muslims, tribals, Christians, Dalits and backward communities of the state.
- Sarna Dharma Code should be implemented, so that the tribals can have their identity based on their culture and beliefs.
- Regarding the demand for installation of the statue of Raja Medni Rai and Nilambar-Pitamber ji in Palamu district.
- Reservation of Dalit community should be increased to 15%.
- Demand for justice in SC, ST ACT in the state
- Regarding demand for payment of compensation amount to be given to the victim’s family in ST, SC ACT within 15 days.
- The land of Scheduled Castes and Tribes in the state has been grabbed in an unconstitutional manner, demanding the return of the land.
- In protest against the displacement of tribal people of Jharkhand in the name of development and not providing them proper compensation and rehabilitation.
- Regarding the demand of BJP and RSS leaders to control hate speech against Muslims, Christians, Sikhs and Dalits and make strict laws against them.
- The dilapidated hospitals of Jharkhand should be repaired immediately and the Ayushman card should be restored.
- Block clinics for first aid should be opened at the block level in the name of Sidho Kanho, Sheikh Bhikhari, Jaipal Singh Munda, Vinod Bihari Mahato and other great men of Jharkhand and blood banks should be made at every block level.
- All types of medicines should be provided to the patients in government hospitals and modern equipment like MRI, CT SCAN should be installed in government hospitals.
- Equal pay for equal work should be implemented for the workers contributing in private companies of Jharkhand.
- The cleaning workers of Jharkhand should be provided insurance of Rs. 1 crore and they should be provided with modern machines for cleaning.
- The contract laborers working in the mines should be given insurance of Rs 1 crore.
- 8 hours duty of Jharkhand police personnel should be implemented.
- 5 decimal land should be made available to landless Dalit and Muslim families by the government.
- It should be ensured that every household gets 100 units of free electricity.
- The government should deliver ration to the ration card holders at their homes.
- To stop the migration of youth of Jharkhand, One village One product should be encouraged at the Panchayat level and a market should be made available for it.
- Reinstatement of Urdu teachers and reinstatement of Urdu Board.
- Teachers should be reinstated immediately in schools and colleges of Jharkhand.
- SC Commission should be constituted as soon as possible.
- In today’s program, district presidents and district teams of Bhim Army and Azad Samaj Party from 24 districts of entire Jharkhand were present, women leaders and women workers from every district were present in large numbers.
