In the Dhalbhumgarh Police Station area’s Raghunathdih village under Junbuni Panchayat, a major incident occurred. Two people were killed on Tuesday night at ten o’clock when some people attacked four members of the house with swords. Two sustained severe injuries.

Regarding the incident, Dashrath Munda Alias Piru Munda, 26, who was hurt, stated that last night at approximately ten o’clock in the evening, two individuals from the nearby village of Bagula, Chunnu and Leda, entered the house and suddenly attacked with swords, killing his 20-year-old wife Deepali and 55-year-old aunt Kullu Munda. The incident states that late on Tuesday night, two residents of Bagula village, a nearby village, used swords to attack a family residing in Raghunathdih. The female member of the household intervened to save the male member of the house, Piru Munda, after he was fatally attacked with a sword.

To escape the attack and save his life, Piru Munda fled from behind. With a sword, the assailant also went after the female resident. To save their lives, the two women in the house hurried to the neighbor’s residence. Sword in hand, the attacker dashed behind him.

Six year old child’s finger cut off

In this incident, six-year-old Sidhu Munda was also fatally attacked by the accused. This resulted in cuts to the child’s finger. Throughout the course of this incident, Leda Munda of Bagula village is becoming more and more prominent.

The injured people told the police. The event took place after 10:00p.m. About an hour later, the police arrived after getting the information, and they took the injured people straight to the hospital. The women’s bodies were sent for a post-mortem as well.
