Ranchi: Train number 00025 Ramgarh-Kanyakumari Holiday Special train running between Ramgarh and Kanyakumari met with an accident at Hatia at 11:30 pm. As soon as information about the accident was received, an accident relief vehicle, accident relief medical vehicle and a team of doctors along with a team of senior railway officials left for the accident site for relief and rescue work. A-1 and S-7 bogies of the special were more damaged in the Hatia yard accident. Apart from seriously injured passengers, there are also reports of death of some passengers.
