Jharkhand news: Hemant Soren, the former chief minister, appeared in PMLA court and was placed on five-day remand.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) team presented former chief minister Hemant Soren in the PMLA court. wherein remand for five days has been approved by the court. Let us inform you that although the ED requested a ten-day remand, the court only granted a five-day remand. Hemant Soren was previously introduced to the court on February 1, wherein the court postponed making a decision until after the hearing. Hemant Soren was taken into custody by the ED late on January 31 after a lengthy interrogation in the land scam case. He then proceeded to Raj Bhavan to tender his resignation. The ED staff then brought him to the guest house. There, he passed the night.
