Giridih: Tragically, two bike riders lost their lives on Sunday night after being hit by an unidentified Hywa near the petrol pump in Gamhariyatand on the Tisri main road in Khijuri, Giridih. The two bodies were taken to Sadar Hospital on Monday for post-mortem and the bike rider who is in critical condition is receiving treatment.
It was told that the three bike riders are said to be from Bardauni village of Lokay police station area. The names of the deceased are Budhan Hembram and Talo Hembram. While Rajesh Marandi is injured. It is said that three youths were coming from Khijuri towards Tisri riding on a Splendor bike. In this sequence, a Hywa coming from the opposite direction hit them near the petrol pump. Due to which Budhan Hembram died on the spot while Rajesh Marandi and Talo Hembram got seriously injured and fell unconscious there. Meanwhile, the Hywa driver fled from the spot with the said vehicle.
After the incident, a huge crowd of people along with the local head Kishori Sao gathered. Chief Kishori Sao called 108 ambulance service and informed the Tisri Police Station about the incident. After which both the injured youth were brought by ambulance to Community Health Center Tisri where Dr. Jainendra and health worker Anoop gave them first aid but due to their serious condition, they were referred to Giridih for better treatment. Meanwhile, on the way, Talo Hembram Also died.
