The decomposing body of a 20-year-old boy discovered in a pond at Haldipokhar in the Kowali Thana area close to Jamshedpur is shrouded in mystery.
The dead, identified as Debabrata Rajak, had not been seen for the previous four days, therefore the family filed a missing person’s complaint with the relevant Thana.
The family identified the decomposing body
Even though the young man’s worried family had been looking everywhere for him since he vanished, his body was discovered in the pond surrounded by shrubbery close to his home on Monday nigh
After being found by the police, the body was taken to the MGM Medical College Hospital (MGMMCH) for a postmortem examination.
Despite the fact that the body was too rotten to recognise, the family was able to identify it by the clothes he had on and the steel “kada” he had on his right wrist. His cell phone was later found by the police in the pocket of his pants.
No clue to suggest murder
The youth’s relatives believed he had to be murdered before his body was thrown into the pond, despite the authorities having not yet provided an official explanation for his death.
