On Thursday morning, a section of the Gokulpuri metro station in Delhi’s border wall fell. According to the police, at least three other people only had minor wounds, while one person was seriously hurt and sent to the hospital.
There have also been a few damaged bikes. A slab still hangs from the collapsed structure, and a fire engine is on standby there. According to the officers, the incident happened at 11 a.m. when a section of the eastern border wall of the metro station collapsed onto the road below.
DCP (Northeast) Joy Tirkey stated, “At least three to four people were injured, and one person was trapped under the debris and suffered grievous injuries while others sustained minor injuries.”

The officer went on to say that the person who was trapped under the rubble was freed by police officers and members of the public. “When the tragedy happened, he was riding a scooty. The DCP stated, “He was rushed to the GTB Hospital.”
Four fire tenders were dispatched to the scene after receiving a call at 11 a.m., according to Delhi Fire Services Chief Atul Garg. While two injured individuals were already being transported to the hospital by members of the public, two more were saved by fire department personnel.
Delhi Metro employees and police are on the scene while JCBs and cranes assist in removing the debris. According to the DCP, an investigation into the situation is ongoing, and a case will be filed under relevant.
