Waris Khan, a plumber from Madhya Pradesh, has become a hero after selflessly saving seven people from a car accident. On November 13th, Waris witnessed a car crash on the AB Road Highway and immediately took action. The vehicle had overturned, trapping seven passengers inside.
Using his bare hands, Waris smashed the car’s windows, rescuing the children first, followed by women and men. Despite his own struggles after losing his job as a municipal plumber, Waris acted without hesitation, saving all seven lives.
His heroism came to the attention of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav who, via a video call, praised him and offered a cash reward of one lakh rupees. Waris declined the reward, requesting instead to be reinstated in his old plumbing position at the municipality.
