Masjid Leaders to Learn How to Uplift Community Through Govt Schemes

Muslims education

A three day training program for mosque heads and Imams started at Karnataka Haj Bhavan in Bengaluru, to teach them about govt schemes and how to make their communities better using mosques. The goal is to help mosque leaders show their people how to get govt help, because some deserving folks miss out just cause they don’t know about it.

State Minister BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan said if local mosque leaders and Imams help inform and guide people, it could make big change. He said making a list of everyone in each mosque’s area is really important. This would help them figure out what people need and get them the right stuff, like those govt five guarantee schemes.

The minister also gave a shoutout to Masjid One and other orgs. He mentioned the current budget has set aside a lot for minorities, with much of it for education. Minister for Haj Rahim Khan and other big names came for the start of the training which brought together three people from different mosques, and more training is planned for later.
