Supreme Court gives Mohan Babu temporary relief in assault case
So basically, the Supreme Court said chill to the police for now regarding Mohan Babu’s case where he allegedly beat up a journalist. Justices Sudhanshu Dhulia and Prasanth Kumar Mishra told the police no forceful actions against Mohan Babu for now. This came after Mohan Babu appealed to the Supreme Court after the Telangana High Court was like, nah you ain’t getting bail beforehand.
This whole thing started at Mohan Babu’s house in Jalpally. Seems he got mad at a journalist asking about his son’s property stuff and he allegedly snatched the mic and started hitting him real bad the journalist needed surgery. Police filed a case and even though Mohan Babu’s lawyer tried saying he wasn’t doing well, the Telangana High Court didn’t give him anticipatory bail. They wanted him to come for questioning but he was apparently in Tirupati.
Then Mohan Babu went to the Supreme Court. They listened and for now are like relax on the forceful stuff while they figure things out. Mohan Babu had already said sorry to the journalist he hurt, still the case is moving forward. This Supreme Court decision is a big turn in this legal battle.
