Uttar Pradesh Building Collapse Injures 23 Railway

On Saturday a building that was being worked on at a train station in India fell apart. The roof support gave way while workers were making the area look nicer. This caused the building to fall down trapping some people under the rubble. The local head official said it looked like the roof supports were the reason it collapsed.

After the building fell, rescue crews hurried to the scene and started trying to get people out. They were able to pull 23 workers from the broken building. Twenty had small injuries but three were hurt worse and they were all taken to the hospital for help. Thankfully no one died in the incident.

Now the police and local government are looking into why the building fell apart. They are checking how strong the building was and if the construction site was safe to see if anyone made mistakes. Right now the most important thing is making sure the injured workers are okay and that safety rules are followed to keep this from happening again.
