Kejriwal Warns BJP Will Demolish Delhi Slums If El

Arvind Kejriwal from the Aam Aadmi Party said that if the BJP wins the next Delhi elections they plan to knock down all the slums. He said they care more about getting land than helping people who live in those communities. Kejriwal thinks the BJP just wants to win first then take the land that the slums are on.

Kejriwal also pointed out that in the last five years the BJP has only built about 4,700 flats for people who live in slums. This suggests that they don’t really care about providing housing for them. He made it sound like the BJP is more interested in the land than the well-being of people living there and that it puts their homes and lives at risk if the BJP gets power.

Kejriwal is trying to show that the BJP doesn’t care about the needs of people in slums and that they only see them as a way to get land. He made these statements right before the Delhi elections which could be his way to get people to vote for his party instead of the BJP. By talking about slum demolition he’s trying to get the attention of people who live in these communities and his choice of Shakur Basti for the press conference was very important.
