A case was filed in Hyderabad India on Saturday January 11th against actor Rana Daggubati his dad Suresh Babu brother Abhiram and uncle Venkatesh. The charges are about cheating and theft linked to the demolition of the Deccan Kitchen Hotel back in 2014. They went ahead with the demolition even though the Telangana High Court had said they couldn’t.
This demolition of the Deccan Kitchen Hotel when the court had ordered not to happened is a big deal it went against what the law said. So a court in Nampally told the police to register a case against the Daggubati family. The police in Filmnagar have been told to look into everything. The police report has named producer Daggubati Suresh as someone accused in the case.
Basically the issue is the Daggubati family seems to have ignored the court’s order. This shows what can happen if you don’t follow court orders. The fact that the Nampally court ordered an investigation shows they’re taking this seriously. The Filmnagar police investigation will try to find out exactly what happened with the demolition and what part the Daggubati family played.
