The president of the Parshuram Kalyan Board in Madhya Pradesh India, Pandit Vishnu Rajoria, said that Brahmin couples who have four kids will get a reward of ₹1 lakh which is about $1,200 US dollars. He made this announcement at an event in Indore.
Mr. Rajoria explained that he’s worried about what he sees as a growing number of “heretics” and thinks this is happening because people aren’t focusing enough on family values. This incentive is just for Brahmin couples a specific group in the Hindu caste system. It’s meant to encourage them to have more kids.
Basically the plan is that Brahmin couples who have four kids get money. It seems like the board wants to increase the Brahmin population and they also want to deal with what the board president called a rise of “heretics”. The report didn’t say how they will decide who gets the money or how they’ll actually give it out.
