Padi Kaushik Reddy, who is an MLA for Huzurabad and part of the BRS party got arrested in Hyderabad on Monday. This happened because of a complaint about a fight he had with another MLA named Sanjay Kumar. The complaint was made to the police in Karimnagar.
After he was arrested Reddy was taken to court in Karimnagar. The judge let him out on bail but he has to pay 2 lakh rupees by Thursday. He told the court he would work with the police and show up when they need him for the case. He also said he wouldn’t make similar comments again.
The whole thing started because of the fight between the two MLAs. The court case will look into what happened during the fight and if anyone did anything wrong. The bail means Reddy can go home as long as he helps with the investigation and doesn’t say anything that could cause more problems.
