Sambhal Shops Ordered to Vacate in 24 Hours for Ro

The local government in Sambhal India told twelve shop owners they had to leave their stores right away. They said these shops are too close to the Thanewali Masjid mosque near the police station and are on land that doesn’t belong to them. If the shop owners don’t move their things in 24 hours the government says they will knock the shops down.

The government says they need to get rid of the shops so they can widen the road. They think the shops are in the way and that’s why they’re giving the shop owners a very short notice to move. They basically want the shop owners to take their shops apart or the government will do it for them.

The whole thing started when the government sent out these notices to the shop owners on Monday. The notices gave the shop owners a single day to move everything out of their shops or the government would use bulldozers to remove them.
