On Wednesday January 15th the Supreme Court will hear a case from KTR a leader in the BRS party and former minister. He wants the court to cancel a police report the ACB filed against him. This report says there were money problems with the Formula E car race in Hyderabad. KTR is going to the Supreme Court because the Telangana High Court said the investigation could continue.
The High Court on January 7th said the ACB had good reason to keep investigating. KTR is now asking the Supreme Court to stop that. The whole thing is about the money used for the Formula E race and if there was something wrong with it that the ACB is looking into.
The Supreme Court’s decision will decide if the investigation continues. This case is happening at a time of political stuff going on in Telangana. The main question the Supreme Court will deal with is if KTR’s arguments are strong enough to get rid of the police report and stop the whole investigation.
