Kejriwal Files Delhi Nomination, Urges Voters to Reject BJP

Arvind Kejriwal, who leads the Aam Aadmi Party, put in his paperwork on Wednesday to run for a spot in the Delhi Assembly. The election is coming up on February 5th. He’s running for the New Delhi area and his family came with him to the office. His wife, son, daughter, and sister were all there when he officially became a candidate.

After submitting his papers, Kejriwal spoke to the people asking them to vote for his party the AAP. He said the BJP hadn’t done anything good for Delhi and don’t have a plan for the city. He also said the BJP is “abusive” and implied that the AAP is a better choice for Delhi.

Before filling out the papers, Kejriwal went to a couple of temples around the city. He stopped at the Maharishi Valmiki Temple and the Pracheen Hanuman Mandir. These visits looked like a way to connect with the community and show he respects all beliefs.
