On Monday evening around 5:45 PM a passenger train traveling from Tanakpur to Bareilly City nearly crashed in Uttar Pradesh India. The train which was number 75302 had left Shahi Railway Station and was heading to Bijauria Railway Station. Its engine hit a large stone that was on the tracks near Bijauria Railway Station.
The train’s driver managed to brake in time which lessened the impact and kept passengers safe. This train was carrying people but thankfully no one was hurt. Right now we don’t know why the stone was on the tracks but railway officials are looking into it.
Railway people have said that there wasn’t much damage because the driver reacted so quickly. They’re still figuring out how the stone got there and the driver’s fast thinking really helped avoid a much bigger problem.
