Telangana’s Chief Minister Revanth Reddy wasn’t happy with some things the RSS leader Mohan Bhagwat said. Bhagwat talked about India getting “real independence” after the new Ram temple opened. Reddy said this goes against the Indian Constitution. He also pointed out that the RSS didn’t help fight for India’s freedom. So he feels they are not respecting the independence the country already has.
This all started because Bhagwat’s comments seemed to say India wasn’t really free until recently. Reddy, a big political figure in Telangana, made sure to say the RSS wasn’t part of the freedom movement at all. He sees Bhagwat’s words as an attack on the Constitution and everyone who fought for independence. Reddy said this while he was visiting the capital to meet with other leaders.
The problem is that Bhagwat and Reddy have different ideas of what India’s independence really means. Bhagwat’s comments suggest that there is a new level of independence. Reddy believes that India’s independence was established long ago, and he thinks it’s very important to respect the constitution. He even said that people should be held responsible if they go against it. This disagreement could make things a bit tense in politics.
