Sahitya24 in Jharkhand had their yearly event called “Aavirbhav” where they gave awards for literature, journalism, and the arts. They recognized people for doing great things in these areas. Dilip Teterve got the Sahitya Kohinoor Samman for his writing and Rajesh Kumar Singh got the Nirbhay Patrakarita Samman for his journalism. Several women including Dr. Surinder Kaur Neelam, Chandrika Thakur, and others also received the Vageshwari Samman for their contributions to the arts.
At the event they also launched two books. One was “Jharkhand Vallari” which was put together by Sahitya24 and the other was “Kisson ki Galiyan” by Rupa Anant. People came from Jharkhand, Bihar, and even South Africa which shows the organization is reaching many places. This event seemed like a way to honor talents and spread awareness about literature and art within the community.
The “Aavirbhav” event really showed Sahitya24’s dedication to helping literature, journalism, and the arts grow. The awards and book releases alongside having people from different places suggest they want to recognize a range of talents and connect with different groups of people. It was an event to celebrate achievements in the area and also a step toward getting more recognition outside of it too.
