Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Calls for Writers to Reclaim India’s True History at Kashmir Literature Festival

The two-day Kashmir Literature Festival started in Srinagar. Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha urged writers to remove the "colonial mindset" and reclaim India's true history. He said modern India failed to preserve its historical achievements. Sinha stressed that India's scientific contributions were wrongly attributed to outsiders. He urged scholars to correct historical distortions and present accurate narratives globally.
