Veteran Scholar Salman Hussaini Nadwi Dies at 69
Veteran Islamic scholar Salman Hussaini Nadwi died on Monday. He served as Dean of Dawah at Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama in Lucknow and authored many Arabic and Urdu works. He edited 13 periodicals and led several educational and medical institutions. Born in 1954, he memorized the Quran early and earned advanced Hadith degrees. Funeral prayers will be held in Maleehabad.
