Jaimitna, meaning "our tent" in Hassaniya, is a traveling Sahrawi installation created by artist Asria Mohamed Taleb and fellow Sahrawi women. Featuring traditional melhfas with QR-linked stories from women human rights defenders, it challenges perceptions of tents as symbols of poverty. The project preserves Sahrawi collective memory, identity, and resilience while traveling internationally to audiences the women themselves cannot reach.
