AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi was retaliated against by an Independent MP from Amravati, Maharashtra, Navneet Rana, during the Lok Sabha’s debate on the Ram Mandir.
“Everyone in this nation began reading and writing about Ram Mandir and its history for many years,” he declared. For the past ten years, I’ve been teased by opposition party members that you have Ram Mandir on your agenda. It was; what took place next? When will the date of the construction of Lord Ram’s temple be announced?”
“You must say Jai Shri Ram if you wish to live in the country.”
Navneet Rana, a Member of Parliament, “There are very few such unfortunate people in the world who, even after 50-60 years, could not build the temple of Ram Lalla or put up Lord Ram in his place.”
According to Navneet Rana, Asaduddin Owaisi declared in the House that Maryada Purushottam Ram ji is to be respected. The Member of Parliament declared, “We have to say Jai Shri Ram if we want to live in this country. Everyone had tears in their eyes on the day Ram Lalla was established in the Ram temple. Over the past ten years, this nation has accomplished a remarkable feat.”
‘Let us know about the date and also built the temple.’
“There are many people like our country’s Prime Minister (Modi), who in ten years also gave dates, built temples, and did not allow faith to die anywhere in the world,” the MP remarked. “How should a king behave? The response is that King should follow Ram ji. What kind of brother should he be? A brother should resemble Laxman Ji. How ought the monarch of democracy to be? Be similar to our nation’s prime minister. What is expected of the brother who upholds democracy? Amit, the nation’s home minister, should follow Shah.”
Who is Navneet Rana?

New Delhi:The Caravan magazine has been ordered to remove its article about accusations of torture and murder against the Indian Army in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district. This is an example of the contentious Information Technology Act, whose regulations were amended in 2021 and then again in 2023, being used against a media outlet.
The Caravan declared on X that it would be contesting this order after receiving a notification under Section 69A of the IT Act. The publication stated, “The content of the order is confidential.”
The magazine was informed that the entire website will be removed if it did not remove the article from its website within twenty-four hours. The item can also be found in the magazine’s print edition, which is distributed to subscribers and available for purchase at news stands.
The lengthy report, titled “Screams from the Army Post,” was authored by journalist Jatinder Kaur Tur and appeared in the magazine’s February issue. It revolved around the well publicised December 22, 2023, killing of three citizens by supposedly unidentified soldiers. Videos of the prisoners being tortured went viral, leading locals to believe that the victims were executed while in army custody. All the Army has stated is that the situation is being looked into.
The Caravan interviewed the families of the men who died for its investigation, including one incident in which the army handed one family an unexpected Rs 10 lakh following the men’s deaths. In addition, the report stated that although three men had died, a far higher number—25—had been apprehended by the Army and subjected to “severe torture.” The report also mentions a brigadier who is alleged to have issued the orders causing the events.
The Caravan contacted a number of agencies, including the Army, the police, and the district administration, to get their opinions on what the reporter had discovered. The magazine contacted various authorities, but none of them replied.
The contentious IT Rules grant the ministry of information and broadcasting emergency authority to summarily remove content from digital platforms, including news websites, without providing the publisher with a chance to be heard. Several media houses and others, have challenged the restrictions in court and the petitions are being heard.
Over the past few days, videos of massive clusters of microscopic, mosquito-like insects that seem to form a “tornado” in some parts of Pune have raised a lot of alarm. According to experts, the phenomena itself is not rare, and the insects in question are not mosquitoes but rather members of the Chironomidae family of insects.
Retired zoology professor Dr. Hemant Ghate told the media, “This is not an unusual phenomenon,” and that the main source of the issue is untreated sewage, which is not being handled. Since their blood contains haemoglobin, their larvae appear reddish, similar to mosquito larvae. These insects are widespread in the Mula-Mutha River and are particularly common in organic matter-polluted waters.
According to Dr. Ghate, these insects’ pupae (the stage between larva and adult) develop into adults at suitable warm temperatures, which is why a high number of adults that resemble mosquitoes emerge as swarms. “A big number of adults soar over the lake, their swarms appearing like waves as they sway in a light wind. These don’t bite, but their prevalence points to rivers contaminated by sewage, the man said.
The retired professor said, “Their larvae feed on organic matter, but the adults have a short lifespan and perish soon after laying eggs in water.”
It is also possible to observe the abundance of larvae in the water near Sambhaji Bridge. The larvae consume organic waste from sewage systems. It is carried away by the monsoon. He pointed out that untreated sewage also produces phosphate and nitrogen, which encourage the growth of hyacinth. “On a still day with no wind, the swarms appear as a plume of smoke coming from trees or buildings near the river,” he added.
Jharkhand is seeing an increase in crime cases. Every day, there are reports of murder, dacoity, robbery, and theft. It was widely publicised that the ruling party of India had honoured the tribal community by getting a woman from the tribe in the highest position in the nation when Her Excellency Draupadi Murmu became President of the nation. There was a great deal of taking away of praise.
However, after the arrest of Jharkhand’s tribal Chief Minister Hemant Soren by the ED, remarks were made to the effect that “Hemant Soren used to live a comfortable life, now he will have to live like a tribal in the forest, like they lived twenty, thirty, forty years ago.”
Such remarks were made by Sudhir Chaudhary, the anchor of a major national channel AAJ Tak, during one of his special programmes. This was witnessed by the entire nation. The progressive population across the nation and the tribal community responded negatively to Sudhir Chaudhary’s remark. Additionally, a formal complaint was filed at the Ranchi SC/ST police station, calling for Sudhir Chaudhary’s arrest.
BJP did not issued any statement on Sudhir Chaudhary
The Bharatiya Janata Party and its leaders did not issue a statement in response to these comments about tribal people. Understanding the cause is not that tough. Hemant Soren has always been outspoken in his criticism of government policies, while the nation’s tribal president Draupadi Murmu approves of them. For this reason, the ruling system is unaffected by Sudhir Chaudhary’s anti-tribal comments regarding Hemant.
It goes beyond Sudhir Chaudhary’s remarks regarding Hemant Soren. It has to do with how the so-called civilised society thinks. His feelings, perceptions, and ways of thinking about the tribal people. A comfortable life, complete with a car, bungalow and aeroplane, is exclusively theirs. Even if the tribe members consider such a life, they believe it to be wrong, and they will stop at nothing to uphold their way of thinking. Able to express anything.
However, Sudhir Chaudhary and those who share his mindset tend to lose sight of the source of their opulent, hi-fi lifestyle.
How people view tribal areas and people as
A comfortable life is ensured for the so-called civilised society by demolishing Jharkhand and other tribal areas of the country, uprooting the local population, and taking advantage of their natural resources. The movement for a separate state of Jharkhand was sparked by the same way of thinking as the so-called civilised society. Jharkhand became its own state under the leadership of Hemant Soren’s father, Shibu Soren.
However, the mindset remained the same even after an individual state was established. There was a long-standing belief that tribal peoples were incapable of governing themselves. Similar to how the British once claimed that Indians couldn’t govern themselves before they gained independence.
The Bharatiya Janata Party ruled at the federal level when the state of Jharkhand was established. While Jharkhand’s citizens demanded a state based on their cultural identity, the BJP accepted the establishment of a distinct state on administrative grounds. The BJP formed the first government. Tribal Babulal Marandi was appointed Chief Minister. However, it was altered prior to the tenure’s end.
Jharkhand and it’s history of CMs
Chief Minister Arjun Munda was appointed. Arjun Munda was appointed Chief Minister even after that, but the Bharatiya Janata Party’s strategy meant that no chief minister from a tribal community could serve out their full five-year term and that a negative perception of tribal people’s incapacity to rule was created.
The Chhattisgarh native Raghuvar Das was then appointed Chief Minister by the BJP, and his administration ran without any issues for five years. This sent the message, “Look, you can have a non-tribal Chief Minister for five years.”
In the ensuing assembly elections, Raghuvar Das himself was defeated. Following that, the Congress and RJD supported the formation of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha government. The leader of the Khanti tribal movement in Jharkhand, Hemant Soren, son of Shibu Soren, was elected chief minister.
Hemant Soren as CM of Jharkhand
Numerous attempts were made to overthrow the government of Hemant Soren and split the parties. News of the government’s impending collapse has been circulating since Hemant became the leader of the new government. Ultimately, Hemant Soren was forced to resign before serving his full four-year term due to circumstances brought on by ED. That is to say, the story that no tribal person in Jharkhand can serve out a five-year term was true.
However, based on the response to Hemant Soren’s arrest and Sudhir Chaudhary’s remarks regarding it, it appears that things have gone completely wrong this time. It was opposed by other Jharkhandi communities as well as the tribals. This was deemed unacceptable even by the Bharatiya Janata Party’s supporters.
In response to this anti-tribal sentiment, the tribal people of the remainder of Bengal, Odisha, and the neighbouring state of Chhattisgarh have also protested and called for Sudhir Chaudhary’s arrest under the SCST Act.
