How much money did parties at the state level receive?

When it comes to state-level parties, in 2021–2022 the Samajwadi Party was given ₹3.2 crores through ballot bonds. But in FY 2022–2023 the Samajwadi Party received no contribution from bonds. Ten times more money than the previous fiscal year, or ₹34 crores, was given to the state-level party TDP through electoral bonds in 2022–2023.

Based on available data, the BJP’s interest income for the preceding fiscal year was ₹237 crores, while for the 2021–22 fiscal year it was ₹135 crores. During the 2022–2023 election campaign, the BJP used aircraft and helicopters at a cost of ₹78.2 crores, which came from its total expenditure. Furthermore, the candidates received financial support amounting to ₹76.5 crores from the BJP.

The significance of this news lies in its depiction of the BJP’s increasing financial power in Indian politics. One major advantage the BJP has over other parties is its capacity to raise substantial sums of money through electoral bonds.

Ranchi Municipal Corporation struggling to meet the target of wet waste for Gas Plant

150 metric tons of wet waste per day is needed by the plant. The Ranchi Municipal Corporation has initiated a pilot project to gather and move the waste. But in spite of everything, the company has failed to deliver even fifty tons of moist waste to Jhiri.

So far, they have been able to send 44 metric tons of wet waste per day, according to a corporation official. We’ll take action to boost this amount. The question of how the company will accomplish this goal once the plant operates emerges.

It is noteworthy that two 150-ton plants, each costing Rs 25 crore, are being built in Jhiri. At least one of the plants is already built.

Mixing wet and dry waste by corporation workers:

The people are being urged by Ranchi Municipal Corporation to separate their dry and wet waste. This practice has also caught on, and people are now keeping dry and wet waste in different trash cans. Nevertheless, the garbage collection trucks are gathering both kinds of waste together from the households.

The company’s collection workers are combining the waste, making the people’s efforts ineffective. Mixed waste is consequently making its way to the mini transfer stations.

    Manufacturing 5,000 kg of gas:

GAIL India is the company that built the waste disposal plant in Jhiri. Here, cow dung will be utilized in the initial stage. The waste deposited here will yield 5000 kg of CNG gas and 8 tons of manure.

This Phase I plant was built under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan for a total of Rs 25 crore. First, it will function symbolically, and then it will begin operating at full capacity.

In order to market the biogas generated in Jhiri, GAIL India also intends to establish stations. GAIL is permitted to open two stations in the city by Ranchi Municipal Corporation, which will also supply the necessary land.

After stating that CAA will be implemented before 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, Amit Shah claims that despite Muslims being provoked, the CAA cannot take away citizenship.

The Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), according to home minister Amit Shah, is provoking the Muslim community. In addition to assuring the minority community that their citizenship would not be taken away, he declared that the CAA will be implemented prior to the Lok Sabha elections.

“Since the CAA is a national law, it surely will be reviewed. It will receive notification before the polls.” speaking at the ET Now-Global Business summit held in the nation’s capital, Shah stated that the polls will implement CAA and that there should be no confusion regarding it.

“The Congress administration pledged the CAA. Congress had promised the refugees that they would be welcomed in India and would be granted Indian citizenship throughout the country’s division and the persecution of minorities in those other countries.” Shah remarked, “They are now reversing course.”

“Minorities in our country, especially the Muslim community, are being provoked Since the Act makes no mention of taking away citizenship, CAA cannot take away someone’s citizenship. The purpose of CAA is to grant citizenship to refugees who were subjected to persecution in Pakistan and Bangladesh,” he continued.

IndiGo flight Delhi to Mumbai emergency landing in Delhi due to ‘foul smell’.

Flight 6E 449, which was en route to Mumbai, had to make an emergency landing at the Delhi airport, resulting in a tense situation for the passengers. Passengers were alarmed when the incident happened as a result of technical problems on board the plane. The IndiGo plane that was headed for Mumbai made a precautionary landing back in the nation’s capital on Friday morning, citing a “momentary foul smell” as the cause.

There was bad air quality inside the cabin for the whole thirty-minute suffering that passengers went through. Many travellers reported feeling uneasy and asked the cabin staff for help. But some travellers said they encountered resistance when they asked questions.

The passengers were uneasy because they didn’t know what to expect from the sudden emergency landing. The passengers’ discomfort due to the poor quality of the air was compounded by the crew’s constant attempts to resolve the technical issues.

In spite of the difficulties, the crew successfully landed the plane at Delhi Airport, guaranteeing the safety of every passenger. According to Indigo Airlines, an investigation has started to determine the root of the technical problems and guarantee the security of upcoming flights.

Once they had safely landed, the passengers expressed relief and gratitude for the crew’s efforts in managing the situation. Further investigation into the incident is necessary, though, because concerns about the air quality and communication with the cabin crew during the difficult situation still exist.

  • In the discussion over Ram Mandir, am I a speaker for Babur, Jinnah, or Aurangzeb? says Owaisi

In the discussion over Ram Mandir, am I a speaker for Babur, Jinnah, or Aurangzeb? says Owaisi

According to Owaisi, he honours Maryada Purushottom Lord Ram. Owaisi was asked by Nishikant Dubey if he thought of Babur as an invader.

Asaduddin Owaisi questioned on Saturday whether the consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22 represented the victory of one religion over another and whether the Modi administration exclusively serves one community and one religion. Participating in a conversation over the opening of the Ram Temple, Owaisi claimed that Muslims in the nation are always being challenged to demonstrate their patriotism. “Am I speaking for Aurangzeb, Jinnah, or Babur? Citing the 2019 Supreme Court ruling that declared the demolition of the mosque to be a “egregious act,” Owaisi declared, “I respect Lord Ram but I hate Nathuram Godse who killed that person whose last words were Hey Ram.”

“Governments change over time. The chairperson, Rajendra Agarwal, responded, “There was no festival on what happened on December 6, but the festival was on the inauguration of Ram Temple. The Modi government celebrated what happened on December 6,” Owaisi stated. “You are an academic. You are also knowledgeable about law. The mosque was built inside a temple, according to the Supreme Court and ASI, the chair stated.

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey interrupted Owaisi’s reference to Babur, saying the chair should merely inquire as to whether Owaisi believes Babur to be an invader. “You first say what you consider Pushyamitra Shunga to be,” Owaisi responded. He could level temples with his armies. I am repeating that Nishikant Dubey ji is questioning Asaduddin Owaisi about Babur after so many years of independence. I could have answered questions on Jallianwala Bagh, Gandhi, and Netaji. However, you’ll question me about Babur,” Owaisi replied. According to Owaisi, PM Modi is telling Muslims that they have a choice between justice and their life.

Many people said there would be riots: Amit Shah

Amit Shah stated during the Ram Mandir controversy that the Supreme Court’s ruling served as the foundation for the temple’s opening. According to Amit Shah, no other nation has endured a lengthy judicial battle to witness the manifestation of the majority’s beliefs. “Swagat kar lo, Bhaiya. Brother, please accept it. What good is it to oppose something while everyone is celebrating?” Many people anticipated violence during the opening of Raam Mandir, but Amit Shah added that the Modi administration made sure there was no unrest.

“PM Modi conferred with all the seers to determine which rites he should execute when he was given the chance to perform the pran-pratishtha. He slept on the floor and drank only coconut water, following a strict regimen, according to Amit Shah.

  • Para teachers to be included for assistant teachers appointment, Jharkhand HC instructed the government to follow the order.

Para teachers to be included for assistant teachers appointment, Jharkhand HC instructed the government to follow the order.

Judge Rajesh Shankar of the Jharkhand High Court heard a contempt petition regarding the appointment of para teachers to assistant teacher positions. After the hearing, the state government was instructed by the court to abide by the ruling. The case’s next hearing has been set for March 22.

Previously, all qualified para teachers who had applied as non-para teachers were to be called for counselling regarding the appointment of assistant teachers by the single bench. On behalf of Sudhir Kumar Rajak and others, a contempt petition has been filed in the High Court.

On behalf of the applicants, senior advocates Tejaswita Safalta and Ajit Kumar made an appearance. He stated that the government began appointing people to the position of assistant teacher in 2016. Para teachers were granted a 50% reservation in this.

A large number of para teachers applied under the non-para category. However, the only reason the state government denied them the privilege was because they were ineligible for paraprofessional appointments.

The single bench had previously ordered that qualified para teachers, whose number exceeded that of the final candidate chosen, be included in the counselling process in this particular case.

In the division bench, the government had submitted a petition in opposition. Yet the appeal filed by the state government was turned down. Consequently, a contempt petition was submitted after which the judge instructed to follow the court order.

  • Aryan Khan Arrest Officer Sameer Wankhede in big trouble, Allegations of ₹25 Crore Bribe Demand from Shah Rukh Khan, Money Laundering Charges by ED

Aryan Khan Arrest Officer Sameer Wankhede in big trouble, Allegations of ₹25 Crore Bribe Demand from Shah Rukh Khan, Money Laundering Charges by ED

New Delhi: According to people familiar with the development on Saturday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a money laundering case against Sameer Wankhede, the former zonal director of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Wankhede is accused of demanding a ₹25 crore bribe from actor Shah Rukh Khan in exchange for not framing his son Aryan Khan in a drug case in October 2021.

A few days ago, the Financial Crimes Investigation Agency filed a first information report (FIR) against Wankhede, an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer, based on evidence from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) that was filed in May of last year.

The ED is probably going to call him in for interrogation on the subject soon.

According to the officials mentioned earlier, Wankhede sued the high court, arguing that no coercive action should be taken against him, as soon as he discovered that the ED had filed a case against him.

He has already been spared coercive action in the CBI case by the high court.

The first information report (FIR) filed by the CBI on May 11, 2023 names Wankhede, intelligence officer Ashish Ranjan, former SP of NCB Vishwa Vijay Singh, and two private individuals, Kiran Gosavi and Sanville D’Souza, as accused. The FIR further claims that ₹25 crore was demanded from Shah Rukh Khan in exchange for not implicating his son Aryan in the October 2021 Cordelia drug case. The accused parties lowered their demand for bribes to ₹18 crore.

Wankhede and the other suspects in the case have previously been questioned by the CBI. The Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer has thrown out the allegations against him, claiming that some NCB officers’ “vendetta” was the reason behind the CBI action.

Aryan Khan was Arrested on On October 3, 2021 from a Cruise party near Mumbai

On October 3, 2021, Aryan Khan was taken into custody following the contentious raid on the Cordelia cruise ship in Mumbai. On May 27, 2018, Aryan Khan received a clean sheet from a special investigative team (SIT) established by the NCB, stating that Wankhede’s accusations about his involvement in a wider drug-dealing ring were untrue.

The names of Aryan Khan and Arbaaz Merchant were tacked on to the agency’s “information note” at the last minute, according to an internal investigation conducted by NCB. Furthermore, the investigation discovered that Wankhede’s crew had not properly documented the seizure of phones or recorded statements.

In an affidavit submitted to the Bombay High Court, the NCB claimed that because Wankhede kept his conversations with actor Shah Rukh Khan “secret,” he was unable to use them as proof of his honesty.

Furthermore, the NCB stated, “it is pertinent to note that Wankhede had no reason to continue such chats with Shah Rukh Khan without informing his superior officers.” The CBI is presently examining these conversations as part of its investigation against the officer.
