Jugsalai: Details from a press conference indicate that the young person who shot Mahfooz and Majid has been taken into custody.
Following their shooting at Murgi Chowk in Jugsalai yesterday, Sunday, 14.1.24, Mahfooz Alam, a resident of Mango, and Mohammed Majeed, a resident of Jugsalai, were both taken to TMH where they are currently receiving treatment. The accused Zahid, also known as Vicky in this case, has now been taken into custody by the police.
Zahid was shot on March 19, the police said today at a press conference held at Sakchi’s SSP office. In this instance, Majid was pressuring Vicky to drop the lawsuit on behalf of the accused. Vicky revealed that he had opened fire yesterday due to this reason.
Yesterday, Zahid, also known as Vicky, carried out the incident by himself. He fired five rounds, and the police also discovered a shell there.
