Gaya: Four armed criminals targeted the Utkarsh Small Micro Finance Bank in Dhura, in the police station area in Khijrasarai, Gaya district, at approximately 10.05 am on Friday during the day. They stole about Rs 8 lakh 46 thousand. Surveillance footage from the CCTV cameras inside the bank’s premises has captured images of the criminals.
When word of the incident reached the local police station, officers from that station arrived on the scene and started investigating the matter. Sources claim that four crooks broke into the bank using two motorcycles, holding a bank employee at gunpoint before escaping with Rs 8 lakh 46 thousand in loot.
The Khijarsarai police station and the Nimchak Bathani SDPO sent officers to the scene after learning of the incident. According to him, the guard and other staff members were taken hostage as soon as the criminals entered. Afterwards, everyone fled after robbing the finance company of Rs 8 lakh 46 thousand. Interrogation takes place with guards and employees of the finance Company. In an attempt to capture the culprits of the robbery, raids are being carried out.
