11-Year-Old Rape Survivor Delivers Baby Girl in Haryana Hospital, Newborn to Be Placed Under Child Welfare Committee Care

An eleven year old survivor gave birth to a baby girl at a hospital in Haryana. The delivery was normal and both remain stable under medical care. This pregnancy resulted from repeated abuse by a driver who used threats to hide his crimes. The police arrested the man. The newborn girl will be placed under the child welfare committee care.
