Tata Steel Security Nabs Metal Thief in Late-Night Operation

Tata Steel security team arrested a suspect involved in the theft of non-ferrous metals during a late-night operation. The action was taken around 2:14 AM based on secret information. Upon receiving the tip-off, the security team launched an intensive search and chase in the surrounding area. A 20-year-old youth, Kishan Sardar, a resident of Parvati Ghat in Adityapur, was caught during the operation. During the raid, the security team recovered 27 kilograms of copper, valued at approximately ₹16,200. Additionally, 62 kilograms of brass was also seized, estimated to be worth around ₹27,900. The total value of the recovered materials is approximately ₹44,100. After conducting a medical examination of the arrested suspect, he was handed over to the Bishtupur police for further legal action. A formal complaint (FIR) is being registered in the case. This operation by Tata Steel security once again demonstrated the team's vigilance, better coordination, and proactive approach in safeguarding the company's assets.
