Delhi Elections: AAP Alleges Police Sabotaging Rallies on BJP Orders

Delhi Elections AAP Alleges Police Sabotaging Rall

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, Arvind Kejriwal, has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of using the Delhi Police to disrupt his party’s campaign for the upcoming assembly elections on February 5th. Kejriwal stated that the police are actively interfering with AAP rallies and trying to scare voters. According to Kejriwal, the BJP is using the police force to hinder their political efforts.

During a press conference alongside Chief Minister Atishi and other senior AAP leaders, Kejriwal explained that the police are not focusing on public safety. Instead, he alleges that police officers are receiving orders directly from the Ministry of Home Affairs to target the AAP’s political events. “One of the police station heads told me they get direct instructions from the Ministry of Home Affairs to disrupt our rallies,” Kejriwal said. He emphasized that this interference is a clear attempt by the BJP to weaken their election campaign.

These accusations are surfacing in a tense political environment as parties increase their campaigning for the Delhi elections. AAP leaders have expressed their worries regarding the police’s impartiality, especially during this critical time before the elections. Moreover, the party believes that these actions are an attack on democracy. They accuse the BJP of misusing government power for political advantage.

Furthermore, Kejriwal stated, “All the Delhi Police is with the BJP. No one is there for the security and safety of the people.” This statement reflects the party’s concern about the alleged bias of the police. Therefore, the AAP is demanding a fair and transparent election, free from any unfair influence from the police or other government organizations.
