A 23-year-old youth, Prem Kumar from Jamshedpur's Sonari area, drowned in the Swarnarekha River near Chandil while making a reel with his friend Ashudev Kumar. The incident occurred near the famous Jayda Temple in Saraikela-Kharsawan district. Despite immediate search efforts by locals and police, the operation was halted due to darkness.
