Delhi Mayor Calls for Shutting Down Meat Shops on Kanwar Yatra Paths in Sawan Month

Delhi Mayor Pravesh Wahi requested the Municipal Corporation of Delhi to close meat shops and non-vegetarian stalls along Kanwar Yatra routes. He stated that these shops could hurt religious sentiments during Sawan and Mahashivratri. The mayor aims to ensure smooth passage for pilgrims. Additionally, the civic body ordered officials to remove encroachments near various upcoming religious camps.
