Jamshapur: 340 Families' Dream of a Home Fulfilled via PM Awas Yojana

On Friday, 340 families in Birsa Nagar, Jamshedpur, received keys to new flats under the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme (Urban). Local MP Vidyut Varhan Mahata and MLA Purnima Sahu attended the event. Jharkhand's Urban Development Minister Sudivya Kumar inaugurated the program online. The residential project includes 644 flats total, with remaining units to be distributed in the next phase. Many beneficiaries had long awaited homes after years of renting. They expressed relief at affordable housing and the chance to start a new, dignified life with their families.
