Two Muslim Cousins Attacked by Hindu Mob in Assam's Patharkandi

Two Muslim cousins, Amir Uddin, 17, and Islam Uddin, 18, were attacked by a Hindu mob in Assam’s Patharkandi on June 1 over alleged cattle theft. Beaten and shot with an air gun, they suffered multiple pellet injuries. Four attackers were arrested. The family filed a police complaint, citing communal targeting. This follows similar recent mob violence in Assam.
