Allahabad HC Halts Action Against Bahraich Mosque, Seeks State Response

The Allahabad High Court's Lucknow Bench has halted NHAI's planned removal of a mosque in Kazijot village, Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The court issued the stay while hearing a petition filed by mosque caretaker Shahid Ahmad challenging the demolition linked to NH-927 highway expansion. The bench directed the state government to submit its response by the June 22 hearing.
