Houthi Group Claims Attacks on Israeli Cities US C

The Houthi group in Yemen said they did some attacks on Friday. They said they hit three cities in Israel and a U.S. ship. The group’s spokesperson Yahya Sarea explained they did this because of what’s happening to people in Gaza. They said they used four cruise missiles on Eilat which is a city in southern Israel.

Besides that attack the Houthis also said they hit other places in Israel with missiles and drones. They also said they attacked the U.S. ship the USS Harry S. Truman which is in the Red Sea. They said these attacks are all about supporting Palestinians.

The Houthis said they are doing these things because of issues going on in the area. They feel like they need to strike back at Israel and the U.S. for actions they don’t agree with. The group didn’t give all the details on what exactly they hit or how bad the damage is but they did say they wanted to show they were not going to stand down when people are being hurt.
