Houthi Missile Strikes Israeli Settlements Near Jerusalem, Damages Homes

Houthi Missile Strikes Israeli Settlements Near Je

Houthi forces in Yemen fired a missile toward Israel on Tuesday. This set off sirens in places like Tel Aviv and some areas in the West Bank. The Israeli military said they tried to stop the missile. They think it was probably intercepted but some damage happened.

Police say homes in Mevo Beitar and Tzur Hadassah near Jerusalem were hit by the missile. A picture showed a piece of the missile stuck in someone’s roof. Luckily no one was hurt. The Houthi forces haven’t said why they launched the missile.

This attack is another example of recent violence against Israel and shows how tense things are in the area. It also shows how things are spreading to other places. Even though the military tried to stop it, the missile still caused damage to people’s homes in Israeli settlements.
