Early Saturday morning Russia attacked Kyiv with drones and missiles. Sadly three people died in the Shevchenkivskyi district. The strikes also caused falling debris in the Desnyanskyi district and hurt important things like buildings and water pipes. These attacks are part of a bigger conflict and they show how dangerous it is for people living in Kyiv.
Kyiv’s mayor Vitalii Klitschko said that the attack in Shevchenkivskyi broke windows and made smoke come out of a building. A water pipe was also damaged there. These actions show how the military is attacking places where regular people live. It also shows the serious problems and harms caused to those regular people. Now the authorities are trying to help those who have been hurt.
This attack is a sad reminder of the ongoing war and the bad things Russia is doing. Using drones and missiles in areas where regular people live shows how intense the fighting is and that regular Ukrainians are really in danger. It also shows how hard it is for the Ukrainian government to keep things running and protect their people from the fighting.
