Farmers in the Birni block of Giridih recently completed a three-day training program focused on protecting their crops. The program, held at the Padariya Panchayat Bhawan, aimed to give farmers the knowledge they need to improve their farming methods. At the end of the training, participants received certificates acknowledging their hard work and new skills. Several local leaders, including BTM Govind Mahato and Mukhiya Vijay Das, attended the event, showing their support for the farmers’ growth and development.
The training covered important aspects of plant protection, teaching farmers how to spot and handle common diseases and pests that can harm their crops. With this knowledge, farmers can reduce losses and ensure better harvests. The program is part of a larger effort to bring modern farming methods to the area and help local farmers succeed. “This training is very important for our farmers,” said BTM Govind Mahato, emphasizing the vital role it plays in boosting the local farming community.
The certificate distribution marked the official end of the training for the participating farmers. This recognition highlights their commitment to learning new skills that will benefit them. This program not only empowers individual farmers but also strengthens the entire community by helping to create a stronger and more productive agricultural sector. “We believe this training will empower farmers and improve their lives,” added Mukhiya Vijay Das, pointing out the significance of community development through education and skills training. The lessons learned during the training are expected to lead to lasting positive changes in how farming is done in the region.
