In the Ghaghra police station area of the Gumla district, an embarrassing incident has surfaced in the Aadar Panchayat. A man sexually assaulted his niece. The police detained and imprisoned the accused man based on top-secret information.
During a press conference held on Tuesday at the Ghaghra police station, SDPO Suresh Prasad Yadav provided information regarding the entire matter. He stated that the event took place on Sunday.
A 20-year-old girl from Aadar Panchayat was walking home after going to the market with a friend. Someone grabbed her hand from behind and began ripping her hair a short distance from the village, next to a river. The girl was shocked when she turned around.
It was Sudeshwar Oraon, her uncle. Despite her best efforts, the girl was taken by force to the bush by her uncle, who then sexually assaulted her. Following this, he fled while threatening to kill her if she told anyone. The girl told her family about the whole situation after returning home.
Following this, the police station received a formal complaint. The team led by Amit Chaudhary, the in-charge of the Ghaghra police station, has taken the accused uncle into custody and taken him from his home.
