In a shocking event, Coal smugglers have attacked the police team in Ghato area of Ramgarh. All police teams are QRT of Hazaribagh DIG. Hazaribagh DIG suddenly conducted a raid with his team to catch coal smugglers as per the reports.
After this incident, many discussions are going on in Ramgarh Police Department. At present there is no information about anyone being injured. The incident is said to have happened around 1 o’clock last night. However, the coal smugglers freed the vehicle from the clutches of the police and ran away. In this case, an FIR has been lodged against coal smugglers in Ghato police station.
2 coal filled tractors captured by police
Based on sources, the Ghato area was raided late at night by the QRT of Hazaribagh DIG. In the interim, two tractors carrying stolen coal had been apprehended by the police unit.
The police team was attacked by 35 to 40 coal smugglers who had unexpectedly arrived at the scene. Stones were thrown at the police car, causing damage. No police injuries have been reported as of now.
