Itkhori Mahotsav to be inaugrated by CM Champai Soren, festivel to be held from February 19 till 21

Today, Chief Minister Champai Soren will be inaugurating State Itkhori Mahotsav. The Chief Minister will officially open this three-day festival of Itkhori in the Chatra district today. Minister Satyanand Bhokta, MP Sunil Kumar Singh, and Simaria MLA Kisun Das along with other public representatives will also be present in the programme. This year marks Itkhori Mahotsav’s tenth anniversary. The festival is scheduled to take place from 19 till 21 February.

Chief Minister Champai Soren will arrive by helicopter at 1 pm today to attend the festival, which is being held at the Maa Bhadrakali temple premises in Itkhori. The three-day celebration will fully immerse Jharkhandi and Indian culture and civilization. It will feature musical and devotional presentations. Renowned singer Altaf Raja and Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh will host the event on the first day. Additionally, Kasturba Gandhi Girls School pupils in Itkhori will perform on stage. Every last detail of the program’s organisation has been finished. Tight plans have been put in place to ensure public safety throughout the celebration.
