Based on the information obtained, Mango Bhuiandih Homepipe resident Komal Kumari, 27, reserved a room on the third floor (302) of Guru Nanak Residency on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m.
Komal called an auto in the morning to go somewhere after spending the entire night by herself in the room. When the auto got close to the hotel, Komal was not receiving the call. The auto driver told the staff about this a little while later. When the staff went to Komal’s room and knocked on the door, after a long time no one responded from the other end the hotel’s staff called the nearest police station.
When the police arrived at the location after receiving the information, they entered and used the master key to open the door. Once inside, they discovered Komal hanging with her scarf.
Suicide Note found in the room
Also found in the room is a one-page suicide note. It states in the suicide note that she is the one who committed the suicide and her death has nothing to do with anyone. As the police searched the room, they noticed a call coming in on Komal’s cell phone.
A Bhaalubasa resident named Chandan Pathak answered the phone when that number was called. At once the police summoned him to the scene. When Chandan arrived at the location, he revealed that he had been living as a friend with Komal for a few months and that they had also exchanged some cash. In this instance, Komal had already lodged a complaint at the Sitaramdera police station against Chandan Pathak.
